Carl Smith Davis, 91 of Crawfordsville died at 6:25 a.m. Sunday in Ben Hur Home Inc at Crawfordsville. Mr. Davis was a carpenter for Midland Building for 30 years. He was a member of the Alamo Christian Church. He attended Waynetown schols. He was born April 1, 1904 in Waynetown to Henry Howard and Elzora Dinsmore Davis. He married Daisy E. Fruits May 8, 1929. She died Jan 16, 1986. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Dalls (Joyce M) Jones; two grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a foster son and three sisters. Graveside services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Alamo Cemetery with the Rev. James Daniel officiating. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Tuesday in Cramer-Shoemaker Funeral Home at Waynetown. - kbz
